On March 12, Mr. Nguyen Van Duc - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province said that the locality is making efforts to remove difficulties for businesses licensed to dredge and harvest sand and gravel. This is to support businesses and effectively manage resources.
To date, Lam Dong has issued a total of 18 valid dredging licenses, including 2 licenses from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and 16 licenses from the Provincial People's Committee.
Enterprises such as Binh Minh Lam Dong Company Limited and Boi Dung DNTN are operating actively in Di Linh and Lam Ha districts.
According to regulations, these units must conduct dredging according to the license and report the volume of recovered minerals to the People's Committees at the district level. In particular, the volume of recovered sand and gravel will be auctioned according to the Law on Public Assets, creating opportunities for businesses to recover capital and develop.
According to information from the People's Committees of districts, there are currently 6 districts with a total volume of minerals to be auctioned up to 85,477.66m3. Districts such as Lac Duong, Di Linh, Duc Trong have completed procedures to approve starting prices, opening up opportunities for businesses to participate in auctions.
Specifically, Lac Duong has received a proposal to organize an auction from 4 units with a total volume of 13,045.91m3; Di Linh District is preparing for an auction of 11,322.77m3; Duc Trong District is ready for an auction of 5,952.98m3. In particular, Don Duong district with 40,776m3 is in the process of completing the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. Bao Lam and Lam Ha districts are also actively preparing for the next steps.
Lam Dong provincial government has shown high determination in supporting businesses. The directives and urging documents from the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment have helped the districts remove difficulties in preparing records, measuring and evaluating mineral quality.
However, there are still some challenges in completing documents and auction procedures. Lam Dong province is committed to continuing to accompany businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for them to operate effectively and sustainably.
