Lam Dong - The Provincial People's Committee requests the synchronous implementation of solutions to ensure the supply of construction materials, serving key projects in the area.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the units continue to synchronously implement solutions according to the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Construction to handle the difficulties of the construction material market, ensuring supply for key projects of the Central Government and localities.

Departments, branches, and localities are required to implement Decree No. 209/2026/ND-CP of the Government on construction material management, and at the same time implement tasks according to the province's plan on strengthening management and development of construction materials in the new period.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to develop a Plan for building materials development in the area.

The plan must forecast the demand and supply capacity of ordinary construction materials for key projects and works; and at the same time propose market stabilization solutions, reporting to the Provincial People's Committee in August 2026.

In addition, the Department of Construction and the Department of Agriculture and Environment are assigned to proactively coordinate with central ministries and branches in the process of building a specific mechanism to ensure the source of filling materials to serve key national infrastructure projects.

According to Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi, the shortage of sand, stone and leveling soil is one of the reasons affecting the progress of many public investment projects in the past time.

Therefore, proactively forecasting demand, stabilizing supply and perfecting the management mechanism of construction materials are expected to contribute to removing difficulties and accelerating the progress of key infrastructure projects in the area.
