The road project from Tan Minh town to Son My, Ham Tan district is an interconnecting axis connecting Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, National Highway 1A, National Highway 55 and Son My Industrial Park in the future; contributing to shortening the distance and time for transporting goods and traveling through the area.
The project is nearly 24 km long and was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in December 2023 with a total investment of VND 682.2 billion from the central and provincial budgets.
The project started on September 26, 2024 and is expected to be completed on September 1, 2027. Currently, the contractor is placing orders for the production of supplies and materials and arranging the construction site command camp, material staging area, and service roads.

Regarding compensation and site clearance, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Thuan province has appraised and handed over the cadastral map to the Land Fund Development Center of Ham Tan district and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the district to develop a Land Acquisition Plan for the project.
The resettlement arrangement is being studied by relevant departments and branches to resolve the proposal of Ham Tan District People's Committee on requesting resettlement arrangement policy for households whose residential land and houses are recovered to implement projects in Ham Tan district.

Once completed, this route will connect traffic in the region, creating momentum for the development of Tan Duc and Son My 1 industrial parks (Ham Tan district), promoting socio-economic development in the South of Binh Thuan province.
