The accident occurred at around 0:00 a.m. the same day on DT 747B road, passing through An Phu ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at that time, people heard a very loud noise outside DT 747B road. When they left, they saw the accident between a bicycle and a pickup truck in the direction from Khanh Van bridge to An Phu.
At the scene, the old man went to pick up scrap metal and lay motionless. People came to check for support and discovered that the old man had died. The incident was then reported to the authorities.

At the scene, the bicycle and the old man's body were close to the median strip. The victim had no identification documents on him. The pickup truck drove a short distance forward and stopped.
