This is the first time that new Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh has explained and clarified a number of issues raised by delegates in the draft Law on Civil Servants (amended) before the National Assembly.
Previously, on October 25, the National Assembly voted to approve the Resolution approving Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's proposal to appoint Mr. Do Thanh Binh as Minister of Home Affairs for the 2021-2026 term by electronic voting.
As a result, 427/427 delegates participated in the vote in favor (equal to 90.08% of the total number of delegates, equal to 100% of the total number of delegates present) through the resolution.
Mr. Do Thanh Binh was born in 1967; hometown of Ca Mau province; professional qualification: master of economics, bachelor of political economy. He was a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, a delegate to the 15th National Assembly.
