Lang Son Provincial People's Committee allocated 1,628 tons of national reserve rice to support 31, 052 students and trainees in the second semester of the 2025-2026 school year, according to Decree 66/2025/ND-CP of the Government.
Accordingly, this rice is distributed to students and trainees who are eligible for policies at high schools, ethnic minority boarding schools, vocational education - continuing education centers and communes and wards in the province.
The total support period is 557 months.
In which, the high school block is allocated 391. 345 kg for 5,853 students; the ethnic minority boarding school block 315. 765 kg for 4, 221 students; the vocational education - continuing education block 101. 385 kg for 1,450 students. The commune and ward block accounts for the largest number, with 820. 265 kg for 19,528 subjects.
Some units are allocated a large amount of rice, including Loc Binh High School 38,460 kg, Luong Van Tri High School 3,5625 kg, Binh Gia High School 34,470 kg. In the ethnic minority boarding school block, the provincial ethnic minority boarding high school is allocated 44,265 kg.
In the group of communes and wards, Khanh Khe commune was allocated 40,715 kg, Thong Nhat commune 40,670 kg, Chien Thang commune 38,275 kg, Tri Le commune 35,625 kg and Cao Loc commune 35,433 kg.
According to the decision, the Department of Education and Training shall preside over and coordinate with the State Reserve Sub-Department of Region VI and relevant agencies to develop a plan to receive and coordinate rice to gathering points in communes and wards; guide educational institutions to make lists, correctly compare beneficiaries and implement finalization according to regulations.
People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for arranging receiving locations, supporting the supervision of the distribution process, ensuring security and order. Educational institutions directly receive rice and distribute it to students and trainees to the right subjects, in accordance with norms under the supervision of local authorities and parents' representatives.
The province requires the receipt, coordination and distribution to be completed before April 30, 2026.
