Lang Son transfers more than 142 billion VND to sports complex

Lang Son - Two transportation projects have been reduced by a total of more than 142 billion VND, and the entire amount has been transferred to the provincial Sports Complex.

Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision adjusting the public investment plan for 2026. The total capital source remains unchanged at over 3,347 billion VND, but over 151 billion VND is transferred between projects and tasks.

The most notable change lies in the central budget in the country. Accordingly, the province reduced 142 billion VND for two transitional transport projects.

The DT. 226 bypass project, the section passing through Binh Gia, Van Mich and the resettlement area, Binh Gia residents will have their total capital reduced by 70 billion VND in 2026.

The Ly Thai To extended road project and residential and resettlement area in Dong Kinh ward were reduced by 72 billion VND. After adjustment, this project will also be allocated 174 billion VND this year.

The entire 142 billion VND is added to the Lang Son Provincial Sports Complex, including the central stadium and multi-purpose gymnasium. The 2026 capital plan of the project increased from 73 billion VND to 215 billion VND.

The project is implemented in Dong Kinh ward on an area of about 29ha, with a total investment of 500 billion VND, implementation time from 2024 to 2027.

In addition to the stadium and multi-purpose gymnasium, the project also has athlete accommodation, training grounds, an outdoor sports area and a wastewater treatment station. The decision appendix mentions the addition of capital to accelerate the construction progress.

For the local budget, Lang Son reduced 2.5 billion VND of 50 investment preparation tasks to allocate to three projects.

Of which, nearly 2 billion VND is added to the road connecting National Highway 4B with National Highway 18 at Dinh Lap; 500 million VND is for infrastructure projects adapting to climate change.

The province also supplemented 2.36 billion VND for the Ky Cung riverside park project, the section from Dong Kinh Hotel to Ky Cung Temple, and public parking lots. The project's capital increased from 15 billion VND to more than 17.3 billion VND.

Lottery revenue was transferred 4 billion VND from the project to upgrade and expand Cao Loc High School to Loc Binh High School.

In addition, the province specifically allocated 45 billion VND of foreign capital for a newly started project. The Provincial People's Committee requested investors to accelerate implementation, payment, and finalization; financial agencies closely monitor disbursement progress.
