Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to allocate additional estimates for development investment expenditures and the central budget capital investment plan for 2026 to implement the school construction project for border communes.
The total additional capital allocated is 450 billion VND. This funding is allocated from the central budget to supplement the field of education, training and vocational education in 2026.
Accordingly, the entire amount of capital above is allocated to 4 multi-level boarding school projects in border communes of Lang Son province.
These are projects in the fields of education and training, vocational education, with implementation time in the period 2025-2026.
Specifically, the Khuat Xa Primary & Secondary Boarding School project in Pan Pe village, Khuat Xa commune, with a scale of 36 classes, was allocated an additional 110.1 billion VND.
The Kien Moc Primary & Secondary Boarding School project in Ban Moi village, Kien Moc commune, with a scale of 30 to 32 classes, has been supplemented with 104.401 billion VND.
These two projects are prepared for investment by the Department of Education and Training.
The remaining two projects are prepared for investment by the Provincial Police, including Quoc Khanh Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School, with a scale of about 30 classes, allocated 119.2 billion VND.
Mau Son Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School, with a scale of about 25 classes, was allocated 117 billion VND.
Previously, in November 2025, along with 100 boarding schools nationwide, 4 border boarding schools in Lang Son were also started.
The total investment of the 4 projects is up to 1,368 billion VND. Of which, central budget capital accounts for 1,326 billion VND, and local budget is 42.7 billion VND.
Before being supplemented this time, the capital plan for 2026 allocated to projects was 218 billion VND; the local budget allocated was 42.7 billion VND.
In Lang Son border communes, 4 projects of inter-level ethnic minority boarding primary and secondary schools are being accelerated, constructing many items simultaneously.
In Khuat Xa, all 8/8 main items have been implemented; many classroom blocks, dormitories, administrative buildings, and teacher dormitories are closely following the progress.
In Kien Moc, the construction site maintains many construction fronts, the volume of excavated soil reaches about 270,000/280,000m3, but some items still need to be leveled to synchronize the ground.
With the project in Mau Son, site clearance is basically completed on an area of nearly 7ha, the volume of leveling has reached about 90%, and all 12/12 main buildings have been deployed.
Meanwhile, in Quoc Khanh, the site is also basically completed over 6.66ha, leveling has reached about 85%; currently 11/15 building blocks are eligible for construction, and the remaining items are continuing to be treated for site clearance to soon deploy synchronously.
