On September 13, information from the People's Committee of Lang Son province, the province issued a document assigning the number of employees receiving salaries from career revenue in public non-business units to self-ensure a part of regular expenditures.
According to the decision, the total number of employees assigned in 2026 is 1,177, including 1,166 people at provincial-level units and 11 people at commune-level units.
The Department of Health is assigned the most, with 1,052 people. The Department of Agriculture and Environment has 45 people; Lang Son College 43 people; Provincial Land Fund Development Center 18 people.
The remaining units include the Department of Education and Training assigned 4 people; the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Justice each unit 2 people.
At the commune level, Tam Thanh Ward People's Committee is assigned 6 people, Dong Kinh Ward People's Committee 5 people.
The Provincial People's Committee requests heads of departments, boards, branches and chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards with public non-business units under the above list to allocate the number of employees to each directly affiliated unit. The assignment of targets must be consistent with the job position, workload and the ability to ensure revenue from the unit's non-business activities.
Agencies and localities are responsible for managing and using the assigned number of employees according to legal regulations. The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to monitor, guide and inspect the implementation process.
