On May 27, according to Lao Dong's source, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just approved the adjustment of tasks and budget estimates for additional procurement of equipment for commune-level public administrative service centers, with a total budget of more than 17.6 billion VND from the state budget.
According to the decision, the list of equipment to be supplemented includes photocopiers, desktop computers, sets of biometric identification equipment, printers and A4, A3 scanners.
The procurement is carried out in 2026 to serve the operation of public administrative centers in communes and wards after administrative unit arrangement.
In the total budget of 17.6 billion VND, most is for equipment procurement with a value of about 17.4 billion VND; the rest is for consulting, bidding, valuation and other related expenses.
Biometric identification equipment accounts for the largest proportion in the investment structure.
According to the appendix attached to the decision, the whole province is expected to buy 52 sets, with a total cost of more than 8.73 billion VND.
Next are 36 photocopiers worth nearly 4 billion VND and 82 desktop computers with a budget of about 1.88 billion VND.
Many localities are equipped with large quantities of equipment such as That Khe, Van Quan, Xuan Duong, Hoi Hoan, Tan Doan communes and Ky Lua ward. Some border and mountainous areas such as Mau Son, Khang Chien, Hung Vu or Na Duong are also on the equipment supplementation list this time.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to be fully responsible for the accuracy of dossiers and data and organize the implementation of subsequent procedures in accordance with legal regulations.
Other contents that were previously approved in two decisions issued in 2025 continue to be maintained.
