Implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister, Lang Son province has synchronously implemented many solutions to bring stable housing to people.
The province has issued guiding documents, organized support campaigns, and issued Open Letters calling on organizations and individuals to contribute. The program received strong support from the people, business community, armed forces and many benefactors, with total mobilized resources reaching more than 489 billion VND, including money, goods, machinery, equipment and converted working days.
As a result, the whole province has completed support for 6,508 houses, of which 3,840 were newly built and 2,668 were repaired, exceeding the set target. The houses are built and repaired to ensure "3 hard" standards, in accordance with living customs, and at the same time choose safe locations to minimize the impact of natural disasters. This achievement not only helps improve people's lives but also contributes to strengthening social security, raising people's trust in the Party and the State.
Speaking at the summary conference, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem - Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and praised the contributions of the entire political system, organizations and people. He emphasized that the task of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses needs to continue to be considered a regular task, associated with the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security.
In addition, the province will continue to review and supplement support policies for households facing difficulties due to natural disasters and epidemics, while promoting to help people improve their spirit of rising up, building a prosperous and happy life.
