Lao Cai stops kitchen operations after 49 students hospitalized

As of October 10, 49 students from Lao Cai College had to be hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning.

Information from Hung Thinh General Hospital, the unit has received 49 patients who are students of Lao Cai College for treatment, suspected of food poisoning.

All patients are stable, no cases have become serious.

According to Mr. Hoang Quang Dat - Principal of Lao Cai College, immediately after the incident, the school quickly sent people to take the students to the hospital for examination.

At the same time, vehicles are on standby at the school dormitory, and people are arranged at the hospital and dormitory to visit and encourage the students, and promptly handle any arising cases. The most important goal at this time is to stabilize the students' health.

In addition, the school has also directed the temporary suspension of the kitchen at the canteen to coordinate with health authorities to evaluate and find the cause of the incident.
