On May 11, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the People's Satisfaction Index for the service of state administrative agencies in 2025 (SIPAS 2025).
Accordingly, Lao Cai province achieved a general satisfaction level of 84.41%, ranking 9th out of a total of 34 provinces and cities surveyed, higher than the national average of 83.09%.
This result puts Lao Cai in the group of localities with good administrative service quality nationwide, ranked after Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Dong Nai, Hung Yen, Hue, Thai Nguyen, Khanh Hoa and Hanoi.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, SIPAS 2025 is being surveyed nationwide with 36,000 votes in 720 communes and wards in 34 provinces and cities. The results collected 35,649 valid votes, reaching a rate of 99.03%.
In the content of building and organizing the implementation of public policies, Lao Cai achieved a satisfaction level of 84.15%, ranking 13th nationwide.

In which, the accountability of the government reached 84.43%; the opportunity for people to participate reached 83.73%; the quality of policy implementation reached 84.03%; the results and impact of policies reached 84.28%.
Notably, in the field of public administrative service provision, Lao Cai achieved a general satisfaction level of 84.78%, ranking 7th nationwide - in the group of most outstanding results of the province.
Criteria such as access to services, administrative procedures, quality of civil servants directly handling work or receiving and processing feedback and recommendations all reached over 84%.
SIPAS 2025 results show positive changes in administrative reform in Lao Cai, especially in the goal of building a modern administration, improving service quality and putting people at the center.
