On May 6, information from Yen Binh Commune Police said that the unit had coordinated with military forces to urgently handle an anti-aircraft warhead discovered by people in the area along Thac Ba Lake.
Initial information, on the morning of May 4, while weeding in the peninsula area, near the water's edge of Thac Ba Lake, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ruong (born 1959, residing in Dao Kieu 1 village, Yen Binh commune) discovered a strange object suspected to be a bullet head, so she reported it to the village's security and order forces.
Upon receiving the report, Yen Binh Commune Police urgently deployed forces, coordinated with the Commune Military Command to be present at the scene.
Through inspection, the object was about 30 cm long, about 25 mm in diameter, identified as a 57 mm anti-aircraft warhead, still posing a high safety risk.

Functional forces quickly cordoned off the area, protected the scene, prevented people from approaching the dangerous area, and at the same time reported to superiors to organize handling according to the correct procedures. Professional measures were also deployed to ensure safety for people and surrounding areas.
From the above incident, Yen Binh Commune Police recommends that people when detecting objects suspected of being bombs, mines, bullets or explosives left over from the war, need to maintain a safe distance, absolutely do not move or impact arbitrarily.
Timely notification to functional forces will help prevent unfortunate risks.
The case is being handled by functional forces according to regulations.
