On August 25, information from the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Trung Ba just signed document No. 8628 requesting departments, agencies, branches and People's Committees of communes and wards to implement solutions to promote the growth of the construction industry.
The Department of Construction is assigned to review the growth potential in the last months of the year for the fields of construction, transportation and real estate business. Identify projects and works that have the potential to create large added value to focus on promoting, and at the same time promptly remove difficulties and obstacles.
In the field of construction, the province requires accelerating the progress of investment projects, especially public investment, transport infrastructure, urban areas, industrial parks, housing and large-scale projects. Capital disbursement must be linked to the actual construction volume.
Notably, Lao Cai requested coordination with the Ministry of Construction and central agencies to accelerate the construction progress and disbursement of transport infrastructure projects decided by the Central Government to invest in the area.
Including the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line, the project to expand the Yen Bai - Lao Cai section of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, and the project to connect traffic to the northern mountainous provinces.

For projects that are behind schedule and are prolonged, the province requests to classify the causes, determine responsibilities and focus on removing obstacles to soon resume implementation.
Regarding the real estate market, Lao Cai requests to remove obstacles related to land, planning, investment, construction and procedures; prioritize projects with the ability to start construction, put products on the market or complete in 2026.
Social housing and worker housing projects are also required to accelerate progress, thereby increasing supply and creating more motivation for construction and real estate activities.
The province also requests to remove difficulties for transport businesses, effectively exploit transport infrastructure and strengthen the connection of transport modes.
