On February 19, Tuyen Binh Commune People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a boat capsizing incident had just occurred on the Gianh River, the border section between Tuyen Binh and Tuyen Hoa communes.
According to initial information, at the time of the incident, there were many people on the boat. After the boat capsized, 3 people were rescued in time, and some others are still missing.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived at the scene and deployed search and rescue operations. Rescue vehicles were mobilized to survey the accident area.
Currently, the cause of the incident is being verified, and the search for missing people is still being urgently carried out.
