On the morning of December 27, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress with the theme: "Emulating innovation, creativity, accelerating breakthroughs, bringing the country into an era of strong, civilized, and prosperous development" took place at the National Convention Center, Hanoi Capital.
At the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, in order to recognize particularly outstanding achievements, the Party and State decided to award the title of Hero to 17 typical collectives and individuals.
In the first round of awards, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to collectives including: Special Forces Corps (Ministry of National Defense); Corps 15 (Ministry of National Defense); Military Training - School Department (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army); Rescue and Relief Department (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army); Hanoi City Police (Ministry of Public Security); Department of Personnel Organization (Ministry of Public Security) and Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong awarded the title of Labor Hero to collectives and individuals with particularly outstanding achievements in labor, creativity and contributions to the cause of national development.
The collectives awarded the title include Cho Ray Hospital (Ministry of Health); Doan Thi Diem Elementary School (Hanoi); Viettel Group (Ministry of National Defense); Thai Binh Seed Group Company (Hung Yen); TH Company (Nghe An).
The title of Labor Hero was also awarded to typical individuals, including Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Cuong Group; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietjet Air; Engineer Vu Huu Le - Director of Hong Ha Mechanical and Construction Co., Ltd.; Mr. Ta Van Tram - Director of Tien Giang General Hospital; Mr. Nguyen Huy Quy - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thang Long Investment Construction and Mineral Exploitation Joint Stock Company.
The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress has the task of summarizing the emulation movement and commendation work in the period 2021-2025; honoring and commending typical and outstanding individuals and collectives in patriotic emulation movements and setting out directions and tasks to continue innovating emulation and commendation work in the next 5 years, creating momentum and motivation to contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, maintaining national defense and security in the period 2026-2030 in the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, bringing our country into a new era - the era of rising to develop richly and prosperously for the nation.
