In recent days, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities in the South has been hot and sunny during the day with the highest temperature of 32-35 degrees Celsius, some places above 35 degrees Celsius.
Ms. Tran Minh Giang (residing in Thu Duc ward) said: "In the past 1-2 days, when I went out, I clearly felt the hot and hot sun. Although it is the rainy season, this type of weather makes me feel quite tired.
According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the past few days, the highest air temperature of the day in Ho Chi Minh City and some provinces has reached hot weather (over 35 degrees Celsius), the highest on August 3 was Bien Hoa at 36.7 degrees Celsius, Ho Chi Minh City at 36 degrees Celsius.

Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Le Dinh Quyet - Head of the Hydrometeorological Forecast Department, Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that the cause of the hot weather and hot weather is due to the developing hot low pressure from the West expanding to the Southeast, the subtropical high pressure branching to the South of the East Sea then raising its axis to the North crossing the South - South Central region.
"This is an elevated phase, the air flow moves down, limiting the evaporation process to form clouds. Therefore, there are few clouds, many sunshine during the day, little to no rain, so there has been a disruption of rain during the rainy season in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces" - Mr. Quyet commented.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the South will have clouds changing, sunny days, and hot weather locally. In the afternoon and evening, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places, with some areas having moderate to heavy rain.
