This morning (September 18), on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, at the intersection with Quan Su Street (Hoan Kiem District), construction materials were dumped on the road.
A traffic police officer was present in time to clear the scene to ensure the safety of traffic participants as well as search for vehicles related to the incident.

Previously, at around 10:20 p.m. on June 16, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police, patrolling and controlling on Quang Trung Street (Ha Dong District) discovered a long-lasting drop of waste, which poses a potential risk to safety.
The working group coordinated with the authorities to organize the collection of waste soil, ensure safety for vehicles traveling through the area, and deploy tracing.
At around 0:25 on June 17, the authorities discovered the truck having dropped waste soil while traveling.
During the investigation, Mr. N.V.N (born in 1988; residing in Luong Son district, Hoa Binh) admitted to driving a truck with license plate 29K-143.xx carrying soil and letting waste soil fall on Quang Trung street.
The working group also determined that the truck was carrying goods exceeding the allowable load by 44%, violating traffic safety regulations.

Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 has drawn up a record of administrative violations against Mr. N and at the same time drawn up a record against the vehicle owner (individual) for letting a worker drive the violating vehicle.
According to regulations, the total fine for drivers and vehicle owners is nearly 20 million VND and points are deducted from the driving license.
According to Hanoi Police, the act of driving a vehicle carrying overloaded materials and dropping them on the road not only causes loss of urban beauty but also poses a potential risk of causing traffic accidents, especially at night.
Hanoi City Police recommends that organizations and individuals when transporting materials must comply with regulations on load; queue, cover, and ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.
