International standard stadium
The project to build a new stadium of Thai Nguyen province in Phuc Triu commune (Thai Nguyen) was started in October 2022 with a total investment of 535 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Investment Projects for Civil and Industrial Construction Works of Thai Nguyen province.
The project is built on an area of nearly 16 hectares, is a stadium with a modern, synchronous design, ensuring the area of an international standard football field with a scale of 22,000 seats.
As of early September 2024, after nearly 3 years of implementation, many items such as the football field, stands B, C, D, and traffic roads leading to the stadium have been paved with asphalt and are in the process of completion.
The project is expected to be basically completed by the end of 2024. Currently, the construction progress is being accelerated with more than 230 engineers, workers and over 30 locomotives and equipment working in 3 shifts.
When completed, Thai Nguyen Stadium will be the largest sports facility in the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces.
Inter-agency Headquarters 405 billion VND
The project to build the Headquarters of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Agencies (Inter-Agency Headquarters) started in June 2023, with a total investment of 405 billion VND from the local budget.
The project has an area of nearly 1.5 hectares, located in Trung Vuong ward, the center of Thai Nguyen city with a scale of 3 blocks of buildings from 7 to 15 floors high and auxiliary items with a total floor area of nearly 29,000 m2.
To date, the project has completed its roof and is continuing to complete construction items. When completed, the Inter-Agency Headquarters along with the central pedestrian street project being implemented will be an urban highlight of Thai Nguyen City.
According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil and Industrial Works of Thai Nguyen Province, the project to build the Inter-Agency Headquarters is on schedule and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
Trillion dollar connecting route
The Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc regional connecting route (regional connecting route) is over 42.5km long, with a total investment of nearly 3,800 billion VND, invested by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Started in May 2022, after more than 2 years of implementation, the project is ahead of schedule with many locations starting to be paved, moving towards completing the entire route.
According to the project investor, as of August 31, the site clearance work along the entire route has reached 99.8%. The roadbed has been constructed for 41/42 km, and the asphalt concrete pavement has reached 13/42.55 km. The 3 major bridges on the route have currently reached over 46% of the volume.
The contractor consortium is speeding up progress, striving to complete the project by the end of 2024 and put it into use in early 2025.
