The Northern Thai Nguyen area (old Bac Kan) is implementing a series of projects with the goal of socio-economic development. One of the main key projects is the provincial stadium worth 260 billion VND.
The project started construction in mid-January 2024, on an area of over 20 hectares. The stadium has a capacity of about 8,000 seats and can be increased to 15,000 seats in the next phase.
According to the report of the Northern Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction work at the project is being implemented synchronously on many packages. The construction of the leveling and drainage items has completed the entire drainage and is being leveled, the estimated volume is 90% of the contract value.
The construction package, procurement of public house equipment and low-voltage lines reached 42,2% of the contract value. Currently, stand A is constructing the 2nd floor, stand B has completed the concrete pouring and is completing the functional rooms.
In Bang Thanh commune alone, in 2025, the locality has implemented more than 30 construction projects with a capital of over 200 billion VND. The main projects are from the National Target Program on New Rural Development, Sustainable Poverty Reduction and public investment capital.
At the Khuoi Khon - Khuoi O inter-village road project, Bang Thanh commune, dozens of workers and machinery are leveling the ground.
According to Mr. Ca Van Hoan, technical officer of Thanh Thuy Company Limited, the route is nearly 1.3km long and the road surface is 3m wide. The unit is mobilizing maximum machinery and human resources to ensure quality and construction progress. To date, the workload has reached more than 60%.
The project to arrange and stabilize residents in extremely disadvantaged areas of Na Hoi village (Phuc Loc commune) has a total investment of 27 billion VND. When completed, it will accommodate 30 households.
The project includes items: Leveling the ground, investing in electricity systems, domestic water, irrigation water supply and roads, on an area of over 14 hectares.
According to Mr. Mai Van Quang (construction commander), the unit is mobilizing maximum machinery and human resources needed to complete the signed items. The goal is to hand over the project to the investor in 10-2025.
For the Bac Kan - Ba Be - Na Hang road project, the Bac Kan - Ba Be section has been handed over and put into use with 11/13 packages. The remaining 2 packages are expected to be completed in September 2025. The total investment for this section is up to VND 2,300 billion.
In the Ba Be - Na Hang section, the site clearance work has been completed over 36km. Currently, all 6/6 construction packages are being implemented, the implementation value is 367 billion VND, reaching 27% of the plan.
According to Mr. Trinh Van Dao - technical officer of Huu Hue Company Limited, the steep rocky mountain terrain and frequent landslides have caused many difficulties in the construction work. Workers have to work day and night, taking advantage of dry times to treat the roadbed. The unit determined that this is a strategic project, both working and ensuring safety, not delaying progress.
