On August 17, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City said that it is coordinating with communes, wards and special zones to implement plans to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); Saigon Uprising Day for Government Affairs (August 25, 1945 - August 25, 2025) according to the plan issued by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
In particular, in Vung Tau ward and neighboring localities (formerly in Ba Ria - Vung Tau), many key and outstanding cultural activities will take place.
For example, the photo - documentary exhibition program to celebrate major holidays in 2025 will be held at the Traditional House area - No. 1 Ba Cu, Vung Tau ward (song held at Nguyen Hue walking street). The program is expected to open from August 19 and last until September 5.
The visitation ceremony for the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Martyrs' Cemetery (Ba Ria Ward) will be held at 7:00 a.m. on August 29. Delegates attended, held wreath-laying ceremonies and visited the tombs.
Notably, the special art program to celebrate the above holidays will take place at 7:30 p.m. on September 2, at Thuy Van Square ( live broadcast, held at the same location at Nguyen Hue walking street and Binh Duong Ward Central Park).
Before that, there will be a number of art performances in wards and communes such as: Binh Gia commune (19:00 on August 29); Ho Tram commune (19:00 on August 30); Phu My ward (19:00 on August 31); Ba Ria ward (19:00 on September 1) and Dat Do commune (19:00 on September 2).
Currently, the localities where the event takes place have developed a plan to coordinate the implementation. The People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward said that it has assigned specific tasks to relevant departments and units to organize 2 events taking place in the area, including: photo exhibition - documentary and special art program.
In particular, the locality has surveyed, arranged and arranged appropriate parking lots to ensure traffic safety; inspected to ensure urban order; coordinated to organize traffic flow... as well as implemented solutions to ensure safety throughout the events.
