On September 29, a strong tornado occurred in Thai Thuy commune, Hung Yen province, causing great property damage. The tornado caused severe damage to many houses in the area. The incident injured several people, seriously affecting the lives of local people.
Many corrugated iron and evaporated roofs were blown away by the wind, falling everywhere, endangering people and damaging neighboring structures. Some houses were distorted due to the strong wind.
As soon as the tornado occurred, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to support people to overcome the consequences.

Mr. Bui Lam, a resident of Thai Thuy, shared: At 10:22 am, I went to pick up my child and saw a tornado coming from the village. I quickly took my phone back. At that time, there were many corrugated iron roofs flying, luckily I took a car so it was okay. Behind, a motorcyclist was caught in a spiral and injured. The airport from the village to the place I suspect is about 500 to 700 meters".
People in the area are still in a state of anxiety when many items and belongings are swept away, many roofs are blown off, directly affecting their daily lives.
