The water has flooded the 2nd floor by 20cm, I need rescue to help contact my mother at 0987.629.xxx. The phone signal has been lost so please help me contact them."
According to the update, up to now, the water level in many areas in the province is still very high. Some bridges such as Ky Cung bridge, Na Hoa bridge (Huu Lung), the water level has risen almost to the bridge surface, people in flooded areas are trying to move their belongings and move to safety.
At Ban Nhung Hydropower Plant (Ky Cung 6), the flood continued to increase, possibly exceeding the flood level, so at around 7:00 p.m. on September 8, the unit continued to release flood water with a total discharge flow downstream of about 2,400 m3 / second.
According to information from the Lang Son Province Hydrometeorological Station, flood water levels in rivers in the province continue to rise.
At 3:00 p.m. on September 8, the water level on the Bac Giang River at Van Mich hydrological station (Binh Gia) was 191.13m, 1.13m above alert level 3; the Ky Cung River at Lang Son station was 254.5m, 0.5m above alert level 2; the Trung River at Huu Lung station was 18.41m, 0.41m above alert level 2.
It is forecasted that in the next 6 - 24 hours, water levels on rivers will continue to rise. Bac Giang River will peak this evening, Ky Cung River will fluctuate according to the discharge level of Ban Lai reservoir, Trung River will peak tonight.
High river levels can cause flooding and subsidence in low-lying areas, affecting traffic activities, agricultural production, constructions, and residential areas along rivers and streams. At the same time, rising river levels can cause landslides and localized flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, and flooding of underground bridges, spillways, and temporary bridges across rivers and streams.
