Lam Dong - Authorities are investigating the cause of a wooden house burning down with 140 million VND in cash inside.

On the evening of November 13, authorities in Bao Lam district (Lam Dong) continued to investigate the cause of a wooden house burning down in the area.

The fire broke out at noon on November 13 in Loc Bao Commune, Bao Lam District. Initial information indicated that at around 10 a.m. the same day, some people discovered the wooden house of Mr. Hau Seo Sinh’s family (50 years old) on fire.

People nearby used on-site equipment to put out the fire. But soon after, the fire quickly broke out, engulfing the entire house.

Upon receiving the news, Bao Lam District Police and Loc Bao Commune Police along with many forces arrived at the scene to participate in fighting and extinguishing the fire.

However, because the house was made entirely of wood, had a corrugated iron roof and flammable materials, rescue work encountered many difficulties.

It took nearly an hour for the fire to be completely brought under control. Fortunately, no one was in the house at the time of the fire, so there were no casualties.

The fire completely destroyed the house, along with all the property and belongings inside. Of which, more than 140 million VND in cash was completely burned.
