This morning (September 23), Ho Chi Minh City residents had the opportunity to witness another eye-catching performance from helicopters and fighter jets, as part of a training session to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
As noted by labor, at about 8:30 am, as soon as the sound of a series of aircraft flying through the central airspace of the city, many people on the road have lingered to see the atmosphere of the helicopters pulling the red flag with the yellow star and the party flag fluttering in the blue sky.
High above, the Su-30MK2 and Yak-130 fighters continued to perform powerful and beautiful cloud-crossing and cloud-crossing movements, causing many people to burst into emotions.
Ms. Tran Thi Minh (25 years old, living in District 3) shared excitedly: "I have seen the information since yesterday, so this morning I took the opportunity to bring my child here to see it. This was the first time he had seen such a close and beautiful plane. Every time the helicopter pulls the flag over, the whole area applaud."
The aircraft fleets take off from Bien Hoa airport (Dong Nai), then fly to the squad to the center of Ho Chi Minh City. This is the third time the helicopter teams have appeared in this area in April, after the reconnaissance flight and performed on April 18 and 22. Each time the aircraft fleet appears, it attracts the special attention of the people.
It is known that after these drills, the state-level rehearsal program will be held on April 27 at Le Duan Street, including many special parts such as: flag-raising helicopters, melee fighters, parades - parades and solemn cannon shots at Bach Dang Wharf on the background of the Vietnamese National Anthem.
Ho Chi Minh City these days seems to be wearing a joyful atmosphere, boiling with pride. People are eagerly waiting for the great national holiday - the milestone of 50 years of peace, unity and development of the country.
