On January 25, the Da Nang City Youth Union said that it had just coordinated with units to organize the social work program "Volunteer Pink Scarf - Loving Tet" in 2026 in Nam Tra My commune, Da Nang City, contributing to bringing spring closer to children and people in mountainous areas with many difficulties.
Implementing the Team and Children's Movement Program of Da Nang City in the 2025-2026 school year, and practically implementing social security activities towards mountainous and border areas with many difficulties, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Youth Union coordinated with units to organize the social work program "Volunteer Rose - Loving Tet" in 2026 in Nam Tra My commune, Da Nang City.
The program takes place in the days leading up to Tet with many practical and meaningful activities, aimed at children and people in difficult circumstances in the area. The total cost of implementing the program is more than 300 million VND, mobilized from socialized sources.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded the young bamboo shoot library project worth 25 million VND, contributing to creating a learning and reading space for local children. In addition, many valuable scholarships were handed directly to students in difficult circumstances.
The organizing committee also presented 308 gifts including notebooks, school supplies, warm clothes to 308 students of Vu A Dinh Elementary School; presented 156 milk portions to Son Ca Kindergarten; presented 50 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to households in difficult circumstances in the commune.
The program also supported the locality with 2 water tanks, 2 water purifiers and 2 televisions to serve community activities. In addition, the working delegation visited and presented gifts to teachers in charge of the Team and Secretary of the village youth union branch in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 600,000 VND.
Mr. Le Kim Thuong - Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union said that the "Volunteer Rose - Loving Tet" program is a meaningful and humane activity, showing the concern and responsibility of the Youth Union, Association, and Team organization towards children and people in mountainous areas who are still facing many difficulties.
Through the program, the Da Nang City Youth Union wishes to join hands to share and provide timely support both materially and spiritually, helping children have more conditions to study and live, and at the same time bring the local people a warmer and more complete Tet," Mr. Thuong shared.
