Binh Dinh - The tractor-trailer lost its brakes when passing through An Khe Pass, causing the excavator (excavator) on the trailer to fall, overturning the road, and causing traffic disruption.

On the afternoon of March 27, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police said that a traffic accident had just occurred on National Highway 19, through An Khe Pass connecting Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces, causing traffic disruption on the route.

According to initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, a tractor-trailer with license plate 37C-305.38 pulling a trailer with license plate 5TR-1587, carrying an excavator, was traveling on National Highway 19 through An Khe Pass. When reaching Km61+300 (in Tay Son district, Binh Dinh), the car suddenly lost its brakes.

During the handling of the situation, the tractor-trailer was turned sideways, causing the excavator above the trailer to overturn, fall, and block the road.

The accident did not cause any human casualties but caused vehicles to pass through the area. Many vehicles could not move and had to wait for a long time on the pass.

Immediately after receiving the report, the traffic police force arrived at the scene to coordinate in handling the incident, regulating traffic and mobilizing rescue vehicles.

By 4:15 p.m. the same day, the authorities had completed the relocation of the accident vehicle from the scene and opened the route.
