Timely resolution of difficulties for people
In recent years, the authorities at all levels of M'Drak district (Dak Lak province) have made efforts, together with village and hamlet heads, to promptly resolve the difficulties and recommendations of ethnic minority people.
In the disadvantaged communes of the district such as Ea Trang, Cu San Krong A, Cu Roa, Cu Meta, Cu Prao, Krong Jing..., the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" is widely deployed. At the same time, there is the cooperation of village elders, village chiefs and prestigious people in the community.
Thanks to that, people's awareness and behavior have been gradually changed in a positive, civilized, and progressive direction.

Mr. Y Dhuk Nie, a prestigious person in Leng village, Cu Meta commune, shared: "Previously, people still had many outdated customs. For example, when burying relatives in the village, giving birth to many children to have male workers in the house, when sick, they do not go to the infirmary but find traditional healers... These habits have made people's lives more difficult and stagnant".
From that reality, Mr. Y Dhuk Nie and cadres of the Women's Union, the Fatherland Front and the organizations of Cu Meta commune have persistently propagated and mobilized the people to gradually abandon bad customs, comply with legal regulations, and build a new cultural life.
In addition, the authorities also orient, support jobs, and provide vocational training for people in the area to create jobs or find suitable jobs.

Ms. H'Lan (Thi village, Ea Trang commune) said: "Every time I have questions related to birth registration for children, consultation on handling administrative procedures on land... I always ask the village chief for support. Because if you do not ask an experienced person in advance when going to the commune to work, you will lack many documents and travel many times. Every time I thank my sales manager, I get very enthusiastic support, saving time and effort".
In particular, many practical models have been born such as the "No Third Child" Club, the "For the Advancement of Women" Club, the "Preventing Domestic Violence" Club... attracting the participation of many people.
Thereby, it has contributed significantly to raising awareness in the community about family planning, gender equality, building a prosperous, progressive, and happy family.

Continuing to be close to the people, close to the people
In fact, propaganda and mobilization work associated with listening and resolving recommendations for people is creating a positive change in the awareness and life of people in M'Drak district. At the same time, contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic development goals.
In recent years, thanks to the synchronous implementation of national target programs on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the lives of people in the district have had many positive changes.

A series of essential infrastructure works such as roads, schools, medical stations, community centers, etc. were invested in construction. Social security policies and welfare for people in disadvantaged areas are increasingly better guaranteed.

The leaders of the People's Committee of M'Drak district have requested cadres at all levels, especially the grassroots cadres, to regularly visit the people, proactively interact and have direct dialogue. From there, to promptly grasp and remove difficulties and obstacles in people's lives.
In particular, with legitimate and urgent recommendations, the government coordinates with prestigious people in the community, organizes public and democratic meetings to explain, remove obstacles, and create high consensus.
