On July 17, at the headquarters of Ha Dong ward, delegates of the Hanoi People's Council of the 10th delegation group (wards: Ha Dong, Duong Noi, Yen Nghia, Kien Hung, Phu Luong) met with voters after the 25th session of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026.
At the conference, there were 7 voters expressing their opinions, related to issues of land allocation for services, land division, granting of land use right certificates, traffic, urban areas, site clearance for some projects...
The opinions were answered by representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Planning and Architecture and Hanoi Electricity Corporation.
On behalf of the No. 10 delegation, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen received the opinions and recommendations of voters, and at the same time discussed, answered and assigned tasks to departments, branches and wards to resolve related issues according to their authority.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen said that this is the first meeting with voters after the two-level local government model comes into operation.
Although newly operated, with the determination of the entire Party, people, and army, the new model has been successfully transformed. This result is thanks to the efforts of the Party Committee and authorities of the 5 wards as well as the consensus and consent of voters and people in the area.
Emphasizing that the city has promoted the assignment of authority and decentralization to the grassroots level, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee suggested that local Party committees and authorities must be close to the people, close to the people, and best serve the people. All problems of the people must be thoroughly resolved from the grassroots level.
"With the two-level local government model, the capacity of grassroots leaders will be assessed and demonstrated very clearly. Wherever cadres do well, close to the people, that locality will certainly rise up very quickly" - Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen affirmed.
Providing more information about the general situation, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen said that in the context of the world being very difficult, the leaders of the Central and the city have issued flexible instructions and management, bringing very good results.
Enterprises continue to maintain export momentum, contributing to helping the city's overall growth maintain rhythm, the city will achieve the growth target of 8% and exceed the target set for this year.
In the coming time, the city will have major and important events such as the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Hanoi has been assigned by the Central Government to prepare, the city has been urgently, carefully and thoughtfully implementing the work to make the celebration a success.
Along with that, the city will start a series of large projects and works; at the same time, focus on implementing tasks on green transformation, solving environmental pollution... with the goal of creating a better environment for the capital, a cleaner and more beautiful urban area.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen also informed about the progress of handling service land allocation, planning work, use of agricultural land areas at riverbanks, floating areas, etc.
For some remaining shortcomings, the city synthesizes and absorbs voters' opinions, and continues to research to ensure the policy making process is harmonious, for the common good of the community.
