On the morning of June 20, the 968 Division Martyrs' Remains Collection Team confirmed that the unit had discovered and exhumed 3 martyrs' remains in the Ban Chua area (Cam Tuyen commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province).
Previously, from June 16 to 19, 2025, based on the results of the search for martyrs' remains in previous years and information provided by veterans and local people, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Division 968 conducted a survey and search in the cajuput forest area in Ban Chua.
Here, at a depth of about 1.2m under the soil layer, 3 martyrs' remains were discovered lying 2-4m apart, accompanied by many relics such as: rubber sandals, belts, tang, rotten personal wallets, chess...
Currently, the 3 martyrs' remains have been brought to the Ban Chua Community Learning Center for preservation, waiting for a memorial service and burial.
Currently, the 968 Division Martyrs' Remains Collection Team is continuing to expand the search area in the above area.
