On March 9, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City proposed that the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province approve the investment in the Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong Inter-ward Road Construction Project (from the provincial budget).
The Trang Dai - Tan Hiep - Tan Phong Inter-ward Road Project has been in place for many years.
In 2019, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province approved investment from budget capital (auction of land to create capital) for 3 projects approved by the People's Council of Dong Nai province. Including the Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep Inter-ward Road Project. At that time, the project was preliminarily calculated by Bien Hoa City and the investment efficiency was determined, proposing that the Provincial People's Committee approve the investment policy using the provincial budget with a total investment of about 1,000 billion VND.
Up to now, the project has not been implemented.
The Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep Inter-ward Road Project is a vital route to reduce traffic congestion in the Tan Phong intersection area, especially Trang Dai Ward (Bien Hoa City).
Trang Dai ward with a population of over 120,000 people is considered a "super ward" due to the largest population of Bien Hoa city.
Currently, the exit - entrance to Trang Dai ward has 3 main locations including the intersection between Bui Trong Nghia, Nguyen Van Tien streets with Dong Khoi street and Nguyen Phuc Chu street with Nguyen Ai Quoc street, but is overloaded, causing frequent traffic congestion, especially during rush hours.
Bien Hoa City also proposed to establish and exploit a land fund of about 26 hectares in Tan Phong Ward (Bien Hoa City) adjacent to the Tan Phong - Trang Dai - Tan Hiep inter-ward road.
