On February 22, according to information from the Department of Planning and Investment of Dong Nai province, Bien Hoa city submitted the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of the Bui Van Hoa road expansion project; the Department is collecting opinions from relevant units.
Bien Hoa City also proposed that the Department of Construction agree to let the city submit a proposal to adjust the road surface of Bui Van Hoa Street in the planning documents of subdivision B4. Accordingly, the road boundary will be kept to 54m, while the road surface will be adjusted to increase and reduce the sidewalk width to 6m.
According to preliminary calculations, the total investment of the Bui Van Hoa road expansion project is about 4,000 billion VND. Currently, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province has requested the Department of Planning and Investment to calculate and propose capital sources to implement the project.
Bui Van Hoa Street is nearly 6km long with the beginning of the route intersecting with National Highway 1 (Tam Hiep underpass), the end point of the route is the roundabout at the intersection with Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
Along this route, many industrial parks such as Bien Hoa Industrial Park 2, Loteco Long Binh Industrial Park... are connected.
This is a vital route connecting the old Bien Hoa urban area with the southern area of Bien Hoa city. At the same time, connecting from National Highway 51, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway to Hanoi Highway, thereby reducing pressure and traffic congestion at Vung Tau intersection.
This route only has a road surface width of 12-15m, a large volume of traffic, and frequent traffic jams and congestion, especially during rush hours.
