A student in Quang Tri drowned

Quang Tri - The 11th grade student drowning incident at Duc Ninh dam killed the victim, and the body has been found by functional forces.

On April 9, Dong Son Ward People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing a student.

According to initial information, the victim is H.K. C (born 2009), an 11th grade student at Dong Hoi High School.

At about 1:30 pm on the same day, C went alone to the Duc Ninh dam area (belonging to the old Duc Ninh commune, now Dong Son ward) and went down to bathe.

After jumping into the water, he did not see him float up. The group of students present in the area discovered the incident, tried to go down to rescue but were unsuccessful.

Currently, the victim's body has been found by functional forces and handed over to the family for funeral arrangements.
