According to information from functional forces, Mr. Nguyen Van Vu, residing in Tuyet Diem 1 hamlet, Van Tuong commune, Quang Ngai province, was using a bottle basket to cast nets at sea when he encountered large waves, sinking them, causing him to fall into the sea and drift in the area in front of Van Ca Cape.
At the time of the incident, ship PTSC 03 of Quang Ngai Petroleum Technical Services Joint Stock Company, captained by Mr. Kieu Quang Luc, was traveling through the above area. Discovering the victim, the captain and crew members quickly approached, deployed rescue measures and brought Mr. Nguyen Van Vu onto the ship safely.
After completing the rescue, PTSC 03 ship continued its journey to take the victim to Dung Quat port. Here, Dung Quat Port Border Guard Station received and coordinated to examine and take care of the health of the fisherman in distress.
