Son La - Heavy rain lasting from the night of July 16 to July 17 caused landslides and flooding in many localities, some households were urgently relocated, and traffic was cut off.

In Ngoc Chien commune, Din Lanh point, Dong Xuong village, 3 households were affected by positive taluy landslides affecting their houses, and 2 other households are located in areas at high risk of further landslides. About 4 hectares of crops were silted up by soil and rocks, fish cages in the lake were damaged, and many inter-commune and inter-village roads were landslides, causing traffic jams.

In the Ca Nang area, Muong Chien, Pac Nga, Muong La communes, rising stream water has flooded many areas of people's fields.

Meanwhile, Chieng Hoa commune continues to record floods on Pia stream (Muong Pia village), some households have to be urgently relocated due to house landslides; many village and inter-village roads and Muong La - Chieng Hoa - Bac Yen routes are buried by soil and rocks, traffic is locally paralyzed.
