In Hiep Thanh commune, 4 households (2 households in Giong Giua hamlet and 2 households in Xom Lam hamlet) had their houses blown off.
The thunderstorms also blew off the roof of a household in Vinh Trach Dong commune.
Fortunately, the thunderstorms did not cause any human casualties, the initial damage was estimated at about 300 million VND.

According to the Bac Lieu Province Hydrometeorological Station, from June 12 to 13, the weather in Bac Lieu province will be cloudy; there will be scattered showers with moderate rain and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain. During thunderstorms, beware of strong gusts of wind, lightning and tornadoes.
