Heavy rain lasting about 4 days in Quang Ngai, there is a risk of floods, flash floods, and landslides in mountainous areas.

On the afternoon of October 8, Mr. Nham Xuan Sy - Director of the Quang Ngai Province Hydrometeorological Station informed that from the evening of October 8 to October 9, the province will have moderate rain, heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms; it is necessary to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind in thunderstorms. The total rainfall is forecast to be from 40 - 100mm, some places over 150mm.

According to Mr. Nham Xuan Sy, on October 10, Quang Ngai will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. On October 11, there will be widespread thunderstorms and localized heavy rain. The intensity of the rain is likely to increase from the night of October 11 to October 12.

Heavy rains pose a risk of floods, flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas, mines under exploitation and flooding in low-lying areas; heavy rains affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.
