At the 8th Session, the National Assembly is expected to question 3 ministers and heads of sectors. At the end of the questioning session, the Prime Minister will answer questions from delegates.

On the morning of October 21, at the 8th Session, National Assembly delegates received ballots asking for opinions on a group of questions at this session.

The question and answer session was held over 2 days, with 3 ministers and heads of sectors.

At the end of the question-and-answer session, the Prime Minister (or an authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will answer questions from National Assembly deputies on issues related to the Government's operations.

Accordingly, 3 out of 4 groups of questions for delegates to choose from are:

The first group of issues is in the field of Planning and Investment (MPI), including the following issues: Ensuring resources to implement policies to support socio-economic development in localities after natural disasters; decentralization, delegation of authority, processes and administrative procedures in implementing the National Assembly's resolutions on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies to develop a number of provinces and cities.

The main person responsible for answering this group of issues is Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung. Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Nguyen Hoa Binh, Ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), Transport (GTVT), Construction, Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT), Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) and Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The second group of issues is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, including: mobilizing and arranging medical forces, ensuring medicine and medical supplies for people, and disease prevention and control after natural disasters.

Issuance of licenses and practice certificates in the field of medical examination and treatment. Current status of management of functional foods, pharmaceutical cosmetics and solutions to handle violations.

In addition, there is also work to prevent the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in the school environment.

Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan will be responsible for answering this group of issues. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Education and Training (GDDT), Public Security, and National Defense will also participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The third group of issues is in the banking sector, including the management of monetary policy to control inflation in the context of a volatile world economic situation.

State management of the gold market and foreign exchange market. Support for loans and exemption and reduction of interest rates for people and businesses to restore production and business after natural disasters.

The main responsibility for answering this group of issues belongs to Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong. Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Ho Duc Phoc; Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, and Agriculture and Rural Development also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The fourth group of issues is under the responsibility of Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, including: solutions to improve the quality of press activities in the current period of social media explosion, especially the role of revolutionary press in promoting socio-economic development.

Management of advertising activities in newspapers and online environments. Investment, development and improvement of telecommunications infrastructure quality, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

The main responsibility for answering this group of issues belongs to the Minister of Information and Communications. Deputy Prime Minister of the Government Ho Duc Phoc; Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Science and Technology, Public Security and Chairman of the Ethnic Committee also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
