In the afternoon of September 10th, widespread heavy rain occurred in the area of Cam Ranh ward (Khanh Hoa), causing a fence wall of the unit headquartered on Le Dai Hanh street to suddenly collapse.
The brick wall fell down, crushing the front of a Ford Everest car parked underneath. At the scene, the front of the car was dented, the wall was on the hood and the headlight area.
At the time of the incident, it was raining heavily and visibility was limited.
According to initial information, the cause was determined to be prolonged heavy rainfall causing soil erosion, weakening the fence structure that was already affected by weather.
Functional forces of Cam Ranh ward were present at the scene, guiding traffic and requesting the fence management unit to urgently clean up and reinforce to avoid the risk of further collapse.
Fortunately, by the time of recording, the incident did not cause any casualties. The vehicle owner and related units are coordinating to determine the extent of damage.
People are advised to limit parking close to fences and old buildings during prolonged heavy rain to prevent incidents.
