Nghe An - Prolonged heavy rain on the morning of September 19 caused localized flooding on many roads in Vinh urban area, making it difficult for people to travel.

On the morning of September 19, prolonged heavy rain caused localized flooding on many roads in the former Vinh city area, Nghe An province, affecting people's traffic.

According to records, on Nguyen Tu Nghiem street, the water is about 20cm deep, in some locations the water level is above half a car wheel. On Duy Tan street, many motorcyclists have to lead their vehicles onto the sidewalk to avoid deep flooded sections.

On Hong Bang street, before the water level rose, people stretched warning ropes to limit vehicles from entering the flooded area.

Meanwhile, Phong Dinh Cang street also has many localized flooding points. Water rises rapidly during heavy rain, making it difficult for vehicles to move. Many cars have to slowly overcome the flooded area. Nguyen Xi street also experienced a similar situation.

On An Duong Vuong street, the flooded water level is commonly from 10-20cm. At some points on Nguyen Van Cu street, the water recedes slowly after rain.

Notably, the 72-meter road - an area that is frequently flooded in Vinh city - continued to record high water levels and slow drainage in the morning of September 19.

Faced with the above situation, functional forces in wards and communes focused on clearing the flow and implementing drainage measures to limit the impact on traffic and people's lives.
