According to updated data at 11:00 am on August 10, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake has an upstream water level of 105.26m, inflow rate of 727 m3/s, total discharge rate of 724.12 m3/s. Thac Ba Lake is at 54.12m, inflow rate of 353 m3/s and total discharge rate of 457.68 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.96m, close to the normal water level of 295m. The inflow and total discharge volume are both at 2,237 m3/s; of which 1,508 m3/s discharged through the spillway and 729 m3/s through the plant.
Son La Lake has a water level of 198.12m, which is 215m lower than the normal water level. Water inflow to the lake reaches 3,488 m3/s, total discharge volume is 3,201 m3/s. Meanwhile, Hoa Binh Lake has an upstream water level of 102.99m, water inflow to the lake is 3,927 m3/s and total discharge volume is up to 4,420 m3/s, including 2,892 m3/s through the spillway and 1,528 m3/s through the plant. Hoa Binh Lake is opening 1 deep discharge gate.
In the North Central region, Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 65m, equal to the normal water level; total discharge volume 489.5 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake is at 186.29m, water recedes at 485 m3/s and total discharge volume 345 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 461.44m, water recedes at 51 m3/s and discharges 18 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, the water level of A Vuong Lake reached 351.45m, lower than the normal water level by 380m; total discharge volume 31.6 m3/s. Song Tranh 2 Lake is at 149.66m, water recedes at 16.29 m3/s and total discharge volume 105 m3/s. Song Ba Ha Lake has a water level of 102.28m, water recedes at 39 m3/s and total discharge volume 120 m3/s.
The Central Highlands region recorded many reservoirs with water levels lower than the normal water level. Se San 3A is at 238.7m, close to the normal water level of 239m; total discharge volume 282 m3/s. Se San 3 has a water level of 303.67m, total discharge volume 230 m3/s. Notably, Se San 4 reservoir has water reaching 808 m3/s but at the time of update, the discharge volume through the spillway or the plant according to the data table was not recorded.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 53.63m, water recedes at 650 m3/s and a total discharge volume of 125 m3/s. Thac Mo Lake is at 204.13m, water recedes at 60.41 m3/s and has not been recorded discharging through spillways or plants.
