The water flow to the lake reached 901 m3/s, total discharge volume is 1,230.95 m3/s. The lake is opening 1 deep discharge gate, not opening the surface discharge gate.
At Lai Chau Lake, the upstream water level is at 294.95 m, only 0.05 m lower than the normal water level of 295 m. The water flow to the lake is up to 2,699 m3/s, the total discharge is 2,597 m3/s. The lake has 3 surface discharge gates, without opening deep discharge gates.
Ban Chat Lake has an upstream water level of 471.6 m, 475 m lower than the normal water level and 431 m higher than the dead water level. Water flow to the lake is 187 m3/s, total discharge is 239 m3/s, the entire discharge is through the spillway dam.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.28 m, lower than the normal rising water level by 370 m and higher than the dead water level by 368 m. Water flow to the lake is 87 m3/s, total discharge is 104 m3/s.
Notably, Son La reservoir recorded a water flow of 4,261 m3/s, the highest in the group of reservoirs updated in the Northwest region. The upstream water level reached 197.6 m, 215 m lower than the normal water level. Total discharge reached 3,073 m3/s, all through the plant.
At Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level at 16:00 was at 103.37 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 4,296 m3/s, total discharge volume 4,289 m3/s. Of which, 1,536 m3/s was discharged through the plant and 2,753 m3/s through the spillway. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate, not opening the surface discharge gate.
Thac Ba Lake has an upstream water level of 54.03 m, which is 58 m lower than the normal water level and 46 m higher than the dead water level. Water flow to the lake is 465 m3/s, total discharge is 446.93 m3/s, all through the plant.
