Dong Nai - The water level of Tri An hydropower reservoir on the morning of August 9 reached an elevation of 53.5m.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 9 am on August 9, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 530m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to more than 53.5m, and the downstream water level reaching 0.7m.

Previously, electricity output on August 8 at Tri An Hydropower Company reached more than 6.3 million kWh.

Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.

The downstream area of Tri An hydropower plant is an area located along the Dong Nai River basin, passing through Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City.
