Water levels of hydropower reservoirs nationwide on August 15

Many hydropower reservoirs across the country are still lower than the normal water level, while some reservoirs are discharging more water than flowing into the reservoir.

According to updated data at 11:15 am on August 15, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 104.36m, water inflow 520m3/s, total discharge 735.5m3/s. Thac Ba reservoir has a water level of 54.12m, water inflow 385m3/s, total discharge 295.75m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.7m, close to the normal water level of 295m; water recedes at 1,376m3/s, total discharge volume 1,581m3/s. Ban Chat Lake is at 471.02m; Huoi Quang 368.79m.

Son La Lake has a water level of 197.94m, water receding at 2,921m3/s, total discharge volume of 3,196m3/s. Hoa Binh Lake is at 103.49m, water receding at 3,555m3/s and total discharge volume of 2,842m3/s.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 153.19m, receding water 486m3/s, total discharge volume 515m3/s. Ban Ve Lake is at 188.36m, receding water 386m3/s, total discharge volume 241m3/s. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.6m, receding water 344.8m3/s, total discharge volume 487.7m3/s. Quang Tri Lake is at 463.93m, receding water 84m3/s and does not discharge water.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong Lake has a water level of 349.19m, water recedes at 10.5m3/s and discharges at 10.5m3/s. Song Bung 4 Lake is at 208.07m, water recedes at 27m3/s, total discharge volume 59m3/s. Song Ba Ha Lake has a water level of 103.23m, water recedes at 107m3/s, total discharge volume 120m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 501.31m, water receding 161m3/s, total discharge volume 415m3/s. Se San 4 Lake is at 213.66m, water receding 366m3/s, total discharge volume 660m3/s. Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 303.9m, water receding 430m3/s, total discharge volume 233m3/s.

In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 53.84m, receding water 510m3/s, total discharge volume 636m3/s. Thac Mo Lake has a water level of 204.79m, receding water 114.47m3/s.
