Accordingly, Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan has sent a petition to the Appellate Court of the Supreme People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City and the judge in charge of the case of inheritance dispute of the late artist Vu Linh.
In the petition, Hong Loan said that she had received a document dated August 11 from the court, announcing the asset survey schedule to serve the valuation. This activity is expected to take place at 9:00 am on August 19 at house number 5 Doan Thi Diem, Cau Kieu ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Hong Loan confirmed her agreement to bring the Toyota car with license plate 52N-1798 to the above address. She will also be present directly according to the announced time to coordinate with the valuation unit.
This is a car registered in the name of Mr. Vo Van Ngoan, aka late artist Vu Linh. Along with house number 5 Doan Thi Diem, this vehicle belongs to the group of assets that need to be surveyed and valued in the process of resolving the case at the appellate level.
In addition to confirming cooperation, Hong Loan requested the court to notify the opposing parties about the scope of people allowed to enter the house during the appraisal session. According to her, only directly related parties and professional performers should attend inside.
Hong Loan affirmed that she would respect, coordinate and create conditions for the valuation unit to carry out the work according to legal regulations. However, she did not agree to let people who are not responsible arbitrarily enter the house, film or take photos.
In the petition, Hong Loan also reflected on the incident that occurred on August 10. According to her presentation, some people entered the house to carry out appraisal when she had not received a decision or notice from the court on working hours. She said that these people entered the house without consent, and at the same time used phones to film, take photos and had inappropriate words. This is only the content reflected from Hong Loan's side, not yet a conclusion from the court or competent authority.
Attached to the petition, she said she had sent a USB containing videos extracted from cameras in the house on the evening of August 10 for the court to review.
The inheritance dispute of artist Vu Linh has the plaintiff being Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung and the defendant being Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan. After the first-instance judgment, the case was appealed and is being considered according to the appellate procedure.
The survey and appraisal of the house and the car is to determine the value of disputed assets, providing a basis for the process of resolving the case. Requestions related to the scope of participants and the use of images at the working session will be considered and decided by the court according to its authority.
