Many hydropower reservoirs across the country are lower than the normal water level, the reservoirs mainly operate for power generation and have not recorded overflow discharge.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:30 pm on April 27, in the Northern region, the water flow to the reservoirs increased slightly in some large reservoirs.

Son La Lake has a flow rate of 134 m3/s, total discharge of 1.105 m3/s through the plant; Hoa Binh Lake has a flow rate of 811 m3/s, total discharge of 377 m3/s. Tuyen Quang Lake recorded a flow rate of 158 m3/s, total discharge of 342.66 m3/s.

Lai Chau, Ban Chat, and Thac Ba reservoirs have basically not been discharged, and the water level continues to be lower than the normal water level.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has inflow and discharge volumes at 86 m3/s; Khe Bo Lake discharges 171.9 m3/s through the plant. Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri Lake have not generated water discharge.

In the South Central Coast region, many reservoirs maintain power generation with small to medium flow rates. Song Bung 4 reservoir discharges 51 m3/s; Song Ba Ha reservoir discharges 120 m3/s; Song Hinh reservoir discharges 15.22 m3/s.

A Vuong, Song Bung 2, and Song Tranh 2 lakes have basically not released water yet.

In the Central Highlands region, Se San 4 reservoir discharged 190 m3/s; Pleyrong reservoir discharged 118 m3/s; Buon Kuop reservoir discharged 15.21 m3/s.

Some other lakes such as Ialy, Upper Kon Tum, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, and Dai Ninh have not yet discharged water.

In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water inflow of 180 m3/s and a total discharge of 701 m3/s through the plant.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 27, the Northern region will be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, locally heavy rain (especially in the Northwest region, rain will concentrate in the late afternoon and night).
