According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 2:00 PM on April 26, in the Northern region, large reservoirs on the Da River system continued to operate for power generation.
Tuyen Quang Lake discharges nearly 481 m3/s through the plant even though the inflow is only 50 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake discharges 422 m3/s, while Son La and Lai Chau have not discharged even though the inflow reaches more than 200–300 m3/s. Huoi Quang generates electricity 45 m3/s, Thac Ba has not discharged.
In the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir discharges 86 m3/s corresponding to the flow to the reservoir; Khe Bo discharges 169.2 m3/s for power generation.
Ban Ve and Quang Tri reservoirs recorded low flow, almost no discharge.
The South Central Coast region continues to record low water inflow to the reservoir.
Some lakes maintain electricity generation with small flows such as A Vuong (14 m³/s), Song Bung 4 (48 m³/s), Vinh Son A (7.78 m³/s), Song Hinh (15.22 m³/s); Many other lakes have almost no discharge.
In the Central Highlands, some lakes have notable discharges such as Se San 4 (190 m³/s), Pleikrong (117 m³/s), Upper Kon Tum (26.49 m³/s) and Kanak (29 m³/s). However, most lakes still have low flow.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a flow rate of 220 m3/s but has not been discharged.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 26, the Northern region will be sunny with the highest temperature commonly 29 - 32 degrees C.
Southern region hot sunny day.
