According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 10:00 AM on April 24, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir was at an elevation of 111.21m, lower than the normal water level by 8.79m; water inflow to the reservoir was 133m3/s, total discharge flow was 127.97m3/s through the plant.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake reached 291.01m, nearly 4m lower than the normal water level; Ban Chat Lake is at 432.1m, higher than the dead water level but nearly 43m lower than the normal water level. Huoi Quang Lake reached 369.82m, approaching the normal water level.
Notably, Son La reservoir has a water level of 207.14m, with water inflow and discharge for power generation reaching 345m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake is at an altitude of 110.24m, lower than the normal water level by 6.76m, and is discharging 1,813m3/s of electricity.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba reservoir reached 51.51m, with a water inflow of 78m3/s and discharge of 444.69m3/s to serve the operation of the power system.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 24, the Northern region will only have light rain in some places. Cool weather with the lowest common temperature of 20 - 24 degrees C.
The North Central region has rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions are sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places.
