Water levels of hydropower reservoirs nationwide on September 5th

Many hydropower reservoirs across the country on September 5 were maintained below normal water levels, some reservoirs are discharging water through power generation and regulation.

According to updated data at 12:45 on September 5, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 113.13 m, lower than the normal water level of 120 m. Water flow to the reservoir is 193 m3/s and no discharge.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 289.83 m, a water inflow of 1,018 m3/s, and a total discharge of 1,108 m3/s. Ban Chat Lake is at 471.55 m, water inflow 76 m3/s, discharge 238 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 368.11 m, water recedes at 240 m3/s, discharge 280 m3/s. Son La Lake is at 208.88 m, water recedes at 1,882 m3/s, discharge 521 m3/s. Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 108.09 m, water recedes at 1,308 m3/s, discharge 241 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.82 m, 58 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 215 m3/s, total discharge water is 455.82 m3/s.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 153.62 m, water recedes at 575 m3/s, discharge 462 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake is at 193.24 m, water recedes at 413 m3/s, discharge 319 m3/s.

Notably, Khe Bo reservoir has a water level of 65 m, equal to the normal water level. The inflow and total discharged water are both at 516.2 m3/s; of which discharge through the gate is 28.5 m3/s and through power generation is 487.7 m3/s.

Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 474.61 m, water recedes at 35 m3/s and discharges at 18 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, many lakes are having lower water levels than normal water levels. A Vuong Lake is at 342.98 m, water recedes at 12.81 m3/s and is not discharged. Song Bung 2 Lake has a water level of 573.58 m, water recedes at 6.72 m3/s and is not discharged.

Song Bung 4 reservoir is at 206.03 m, water recedes 32 m3/s and is not discharged. Song Tranh 2 reservoir has a water level of 143.08 m, water recedes 5.74 m3/s and is not discharged.

Song Ba Ha Lake has a water level of 102.87 m, water recedes at 1,259 m3/s, total discharge water volume of 1,129 m3/s. In which, the discharge flow through the gate gate is 729 m3/s and through power generation is 400 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 509.75 m, water recedes at 557 m3/s and discharges at 164 m3/s. Pleikrông Lake is at 567.27 m, water recedes at 460 m3/s, discharges at 208 m3/s.

Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 303.77 m, water recedes 216 m3/s and discharges 412 m3/s. Se San 3A Lake is at 238.74 m, water recedes and discharges at the same level 500 m3/s.

Se San 4 reservoir has a water level of 214.43 m, water inflow and total discharge volume are 1,123 m3/s, of which discharge through gates is 448 m3/s and through power generation is 675 m3/s.

An Khe Lake has a water level of 428.26 m, water receding 4.78 m3/s, total discharge volume 28 m3/s. Buon Kuop Lake has a water level of 410.22 m, water receding 259 m3/s, discharge 15.2 m3/s.

Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh and Ham Thuan reservoirs currently do not discharge water according to updated data. Da Mi Lake has a water level of 324.34 m, water receding at 9.79 m3/s and discharging 56.7 m3/s.

In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 56.62 m, water recedes to 1,650 m3/s and is not discharged. Thac Mo Lake is at 210.13 m, water recedes to 370.95 m3/s and discharges 176 m3/s.
